The Han River (한강, 漢江) is the river that flows through the center of Seoul, and the most well-known river in the country. Other areas it flows through include Gangwon-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Gyeonggi-do before flowing into the West Sea or Yellow Sea. It has a total watershed of 26018㎢ and a length of 481.7 kilometres.
