Hatae-do (하태도) (下苔島, under.lichen.island) is a very small island in the county of Shinan (신안군) in the province of Jeollanam-do, but way off from the coast and close to the southwest corner of the country. It is the southernmost of three islands that form the Tae-do archipelago, the others being called Jungtae-do and Sangtae-do. They are located in Heuksan-myeon.
