Hitakatsu

Hitakatsu (比田勝) is the name of the port on the north side of the island of Tsushima in Japan, known as Daema-do in Korea. Being on the north side of the island it is the closest area to Korea outside of the country. The island of Tsushima is only about 50 km or so from Busan at its closest point.

Most people going to the island will get off at the larger town of Izuhara, but this is on the south side of the island, meaning that the ferry will have to come in from the north and then move around to the other side, causing it to take nearly as much time as the Beetle ferry to Fukuoka.
