Hogye-myeon (호계면) (虎溪面) is in Mungyeong-shi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is bordered on the north and east by Sanbuk-myeon; on the south by Jeomchon and by Sanyang-myeon; on the northwest by Maseong-myeon.

[edit] Ghost road (Do-ggaebi-doro, 도깨비도로)

This optical illusion is located on a road leading up to an unmarked building that seems to be a dorm at Mungyeong College. Go in the front entrance to the college and take the first road to the right (actually pretty much straight - the main road goes off to the left. Drive to the parking lot of the building there, then turn around and head back very slowly down the hill toward the junction with the main road to the college. There's an area about 50 meters long where it looks like you are climbing a hill, but a car put in neutral will coast that distance, proving that the road actually descends. This phenomenom was discovered in Oct. 1997 by the building's construction workers. There are said to be similar illusions in Cheju-do, Ulsan, and Anyang.
