Homever is a major retail chain, similar to Homeplus and Emart, owned by E.Land, a major apparel retailer that also operates the New Core and 2001 Outlets. Carrefour Korea used to operate all 32 locations, but sold to E.Land, who in turn transformed the brand into its current name, which is supposed to be a mix of "Home" and "Forever".
