The Hongcheon River (홍천강, 洪川江) is a river in Hongcheon County, Gangwon-do. It is 143 km in length, and eventually flows into Cheongpyeong Lake. It is a shallow river with warm water and somewhat wide, bringing a lot of people to its shores during the summer to escape the heat.
