Hongik University Station (홍대입구역, 弘大入口驛), also known simply as Hongdae Station, is a station on line 2 of the Seoul subway. It is next to Hapjeong and Shinchon Station. As the name implies, it is close to Hongik University, though the two are not connected. The university is about ten minutes walk up the road from exit 6.
