Hwabuk-myeon (Sangju)

Hwabuk-myeon is in the far northwest part of Sangju-shi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. on its east side is Mungyeong-shi's Nong-am-myeon; on its north is Goesan-gun's Cheongcheon-myeon. On the west is Boeun-gun's Sanoe-myeon and Naesongni-myeon. On the small southern border one finds Sangju's Hwanam-myeon, Hwaseo-myeon and Oiseo-myeon. Roads No. 49 and 32 run through the myeon.

    • Cultivated land: 7.0 sq. kms.
    • Forested land: 88.9 sq. kms.
    • Other: 3.5 sq. kms.
