Hangwachae (황와채) is a vegetarian buffet restaurant in Insadong, which serves up Korean food made with organic vegetables by the husband and wife who own the place. The buffet costs 10,000 won and they are open for lunch from 10:30 to 2:30, and for dinner from 5 pm.
To get there, go out exit 3 of Jonggak Station, walk straight towards Geumgang Jehwa and turn left at the intersection; turn right at the Sudo Pharmacy (수도약국) and walk about 150 meters. It should be on your left.

To find Hangwachae, look for Sudo 수도 pharmacy on the main Insadong street.
From Anguk, it is about a 5 min. walk. Sudo and the road leading to Hwangwachae are just past Ssamzie Gil.
From Jonggak, it takes slightly less than 10 min. Sudo will be past the alley where you turn to go to Sanchon and just before you get to Ssamzie Gil.
The sign for Sudo is white with colored letters. Sudo has glass walls and is slightly off the street. The name Sudo on the sign is only in korean 수도 . After you turn on the street to the right of Sudo (Seokjeong-gil), you will pass an alley on the left and then Hwangwachae should be on the left. It is in the basement and there is usually a sign by the door leading down that says vegetarian restaurant.
