Hwasun (화순군, 和順郡, harmonious.orderly.county) is a county in Jeollanam-do. The population as of 2004 was 75,380, including:

- 357 non-Koreans.

To the east is the county of Gokseong and the city of Suncheon, to the west are the cities of Gwangju and Naju, to the south are the counties of Boseong and Jangheung, and to the south is the county of Damyang.
There are a number of mountains in the county, some of which include Baegasan (백아산, 白鴉山:804m), Gubongsan (구봉산, 九峰山), Cheonunsan (천운산, 天雲山:608m), Taeaksan (태악산), Jongamsan (종암산), Ubongsan (우봉산), and Mohusan(모후산, 母後山:919m).
Some of the rivers in the county include the Jiseokcheon (지석천, 砥石川), the Dongbukcheon (동복천, 同福川), and the Hwasuncheon (화순천, 和順川).
The average yearly temperature is 12.6℃, the average temperature in January is 0.7℃, and the average temperature in August is 26.1℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,198 mm. In spite of its southern latitude Hwasun is located at a high altitude, and snow usually begins in November and ends in March.
