Hwawon-myeon

Hwawon-myeon (화원면, ) is one of 13 myeon that help comprise Haenam county, Jeollanam-do. It occupies an area of 80.83 square kilometers and in 2001 it had a population of 5,549.

  • A wooden statue of Buddhist deities at Seodongsa temple is designated as Jeollanam-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 227 [1], and the temple's main hall is Jeollanam-do Cultural Property No. 174 [2].
