Imsil (임실군, 任實郡, take care of.fruit/reality.county) is a county in Jeollabuk-do. The population as of 2004 was 33,166, including:

Imshil is located at 127°05′~ 127°26′ East, and 35°27′~ 35°47′ North. To the northeast are the counties of Jinan and Jangsu, to the southeast is the city of Namwon, to the south is the county of Sunchang, to the west is the city of Jeongeup, and to the northwest is the county of Wanju.
Mountains to the northwest include Gyeonggaksan (경각산, 660m), and those to the northeast include Seongsusan (성수산, 876m).
The average yearly temperature is 12℃, the average in January is -2.3℃, and that in August is 23℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,310mm.

The county of Imshil shows movies for free twice a month at the 임실군립도서관 시청각 다목적실 (the audio-visual room in the Imshil County Library). These movies are relatively recent; for example in July 2006 the two movies shown were 왕의 남자 and 무극, both from 2005.
