Incheon Station

Incheon Station (인천역, ) is a station on line one of the Seoul Subway, though located in the city of Incheon. It is the last station on the line and is next to Dong-Incheon Station. It is located in Jung-gu, in Bukseong-dong.

The building that Incheon Station is located in was constructed in 1960, and due to complaints from citizens due to its age and lack of space the station is to be completely redone by 2015. Incheon Chinatown is located nearby.

Customers get off the left side of the train at Incheon Station.

History

  • 1900 - operation begins.
  • 1974 - customers increase dramatically after being added to line 1 of the subway system.
