Inje (인제군, , giraffe/kirin.hoof.county) is a county in Gangwon-do. The population as of 2004 was 32,563, including:

Inje is located at 127°59′~ 128°32′ East, and 37°21′~ 37°36′ North. It is located in the middle-eastern part of the province in the middle of the Taebaek Mountains.

Inje borders North Korea to the north, as well as the counties of Cheorwon, Hwacheon, Yanggu and Goseong.

Mountains in the county include Musan (무산, 1,319m), Hyangnosan (향로봉, 1,293m), Seoraksan (설악산, 1,708m), Jeombongsan (점봉산, 1,424m) and Gachilbong (가칠봉, 1,240m).

As Inje is located in the mountains far from the sea, it lacks its moderating influence. The average yearly temperature is 10.5℃, the average temperature in January is -6℃, and the average temperature in August is 24.2℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,021mm.
