Jamsil (잠실, 蠶室) is the core of the southeast part (Gangdonggu and Songpagu) of Seoul. Jamsil is regarded as the shopping and entertainment centre of the southeast part of the city, along with Cheonhodong.

• Lotte World(롯데월드) : The unique amusement park located inside of Seoul city, and one of the biggest amusement parks in Korea.
• Lotte Department Store(롯데백화점 잠실점) : A big shopping centre, with a grocery stores alongside.
• Kyobo Bookstore(교보문고 잠실점) : The biggest bookstore in the southeast part of Seoul. There are more than 400,000 books, including foreign books and magazines as well as CDs and DVDs in the sister-store called "Hottracks", in Korean, 핫트랙스. It can be reached by subway, Jamsil station, exit no.8.
• Seokchon lake(석촌호수) : Cool date course, with esplanades. It can be reached by subway, Jamsil station, exit no.2(East side) or no.3(West side).
