Java City (자바씨티) is the name of a chain of coffee shops. Java City has a large number of couches and comfortable seats as opposed to other coffee shops that fit a much larger number of people into the same space. Java City has a number of drinks particular to it such as the eye-opener, a drink for 4000 won made from a cup of regular coffee with a shot of espresso, and a number of mocha-type drinks.
As of March 2007, there are a total of 17 locations within the country.
