Jecheon Station (제천역, 堤川驛, embankment.river.station) is a station on the Chungcheong-do railway. Two lines converge at the station: to the west is Bongyang Station, to the northeast is Ipseongni Station, and to the southeast is Samgok Station. It is part of the Jungang Line (중앙선) and Taebaek Line (태백선). An average of 3800 people use the station every day.
History
- September 1 1941: Station begins operation.
- December 31 1955: Station begins handling trains on the Taebaek line.
