Jeomchon-dong, in Mungyeong-shi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, consists of five administrative dongs (Jeomchon 1-dong thru Jeomchon 5-dong). Names were changed less than ten years ago from such names as Mojeon-dong (around the city hall in the south side of Jeomchon), Jong-dong (downtown Jeomchon), and Shinheung-dong (in the north part of Jeomchon.). The old names are still in common usage.

The entirety of the five dongs include the urban area of Jeomchon, plus some rural and village land the the west and northwest.
