Jincheon (진천군) is a county in Chungcheongbuk-do. The population as of 2004 was 62,491, including:

- 2,144 non-Koreans.

To the east are the counties of Eumseong and Goesan, to the south is the county of Cheongwon, to the west is the city of Cheonan in the province of Chungcheongnam-do, and to the north is the city of Anseong in Gyeonggi-do.
Jincheon is located at 127°17'∼127°36' East, 36°45'∼37°01' North, in an area with a large number of mountains. To the south and the east is an area with mountains generally under 400 metres.
The climate is continental with a large amount of rain. The average yearly temperature is 11.3℃, the average in January is -5℃, and that in August is 25.8℃. The average precipitation over the year is 1,199 mm.
