Jindo Moses Miracle

The Jindo Moses Miracle happens when low tides expose a 2.8 kilometer strip of land for one hour at a time, several times a year. The event takes place between Jindo and Modo islands in Jindo county, Jeollanam-do.

The "miracle" is part of the Jindo Yeongdeung Festival, and takes place infrequently each year. In 2006, for example, the festival was held in September. In 2005, the event happened three times, in March, May, and July.
