The Jinju National Museum, opened to the public on February 2, 1984, is located in the Jinjiseong Castle. Its original purpose was to document Gaya culture, but was reopened in 1998 as a museum of the 1592 invasion by Japan, particularly the Jinjuseong Battle. The museum also has a lounge, restaurant, and an auditorium.
Viewing hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and to 7:00 PM on the weekend. It is closed every Monday and on January 1st. Regular admission is 1,000 won.
