Jongno 3-ga Station (종로3가역, 鍾路3街驛, iron drum.road.3.district.station) is a station on line one, line three and line five of the Seoul subway. It is next to:
General information
Jongno 3-ga station is located in the centre of Seoul in Jongno, an area often considered to be Seoul's downtown. As three major lines converge here the station is extremely busy and there are even raised horizontal escalators on each side to help speed up the flow of traffic when changing lines. The large number of exits (15) makes it nearly impossible to just show up at the station to meet someone without deciding on an exact exit number. There are a large number of coffee shops (Pascucci, Starbucks etc.) in the area, as well as hagwons and just about everything else.
