KOTESOL stands for Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages and is a volunteer organization supporting the development and skillsets of English teachers in Korea. They have 9 different chapters throughout Korea that meet once a month and also organize periodic events and activities with their members. Joining the KOTESOL chapter nearest you is a great way to meet other teachers, make friends, as well as improve upon yourself as a teacher.

KOTESOL also has a yearly conference, where all members and interested non-members meet and attend educational seminars.

• Seoul chapter meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Sookmyung University.
• Suwon-Gyeonggi chapter meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month in Suwon.
• Busan-Gyeongnam chapter meets on the 4th Saturday of every month at Dongseo University.
• North Jeolla chapter meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Jeonju University.
• Gwangju-Jeonnam chapter meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month at different universities in Gwangju.
• Gangwon chapter meets on the 1st Saturday of every month in Sokcho.
• Daejeon-Chungnam chapter meets on the 1st Saturday of every month in Daejeon.
• Daegu-Gyeongbuk chapter meets on the 1st Saturday of every month in Daegu.
• Cheongju chapter meets on the last Saturday of every month at Chongju University.
