Kankodeungeo

Kankodeungeo is a type of salted mackerel which is a specialty of Andong. It is available in many places in Korea. It has been aged for a couple days before being preserved, and it is is salted lightly enough that it then requires refrigeration. It comes fileted in packages so it is more expensive than fresh whole mackerel.
