Mangsang Beach is three kilometers north of Mukho port, in Mangsang-dong. On the inland side of the wide white-sand beach is the Donghae Whale Fossil Museum. The beach, over 1 km. long, is very developed, with a huge campground, amusement park rides, hotels and restaurants. Salt-making facilities once were located here, but were closed with the departure of the Japanese.
