 A street entrance to Metrocenter. Metrocenter or Metro Plaza is a sprawling underground shopping mall in downtown Daegu. The underground mall branches off of the Banwoldang Station underground shopping complex. The current tenancy is relatively low compared to the more established Jungangno Underground Shopping Mall, which branches off of Jungangno Station. There are many entrances to the mall stretching a number of blocks, east and west from Banwoldang Station, which make it a convenient method of commute when walking through the cold or hot months in that part of downtown.
