Mojeoncheon is a short river running through Jeomchon in Mungyeong-shi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is channelized as it runs straight as an arrow through the urban area. Below this it runs into the Nakdong River in Hamchang-eup of Sangju-shi.
The river bank is lined with cherry trees, making it a very attractive area in the springtime. There are walkways and benches in some areas near river level. Stepping stones cross in several places, though bridges are abundant. City streets run along the bank, higher up.
Near the city center, this part of the stream had a concrete pedestrian path above the bank to the right. In the last couple years its been replaced by a road as the whole adjacent area is being redeveloped. This crossing saves two or three minutes. It's underwater when the river is running high. It connects the street beyond the little bridges with the main street, Jungangno. One performance stage of the annual cherry blossom festival is built midstream just up from here.
