Mudeungsan (무등산) is a mountain in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do. It rises 1,187 meters and is the centerpiece of Mudeungsan Provincial Park in Hwasun and Damyang counties, and Gwangju. The mountain itself is located primarily in Buk-gu and Dong-gu in Gwangju. It is a popular destination in all four seasons.
There are a number of temples at Mudeungsan: Yaksaam, Jeungsimsa, and Wonhyosa.

- From Gwangju: Take buses numbered No. 9, 17, 222, or 333 to the Provincial Office, and then take bus no. 777 to Wonhyosa. Or, from Gwangju Station, either take bus no. 18 or a taxi to Wonhyosa.
