Mudeungsan Provincial Park (무등산도립공원) is located in Jeollanam-do. Its centerpiece is Mudeungsan, a mountain of 1,187 meters which sprawls into Gwangju city, and Hwasun and Damyang counties. The park is over 30 square kilometers [1].

Buses run to the area from Hwasun Bus Terminal in Hwasun, and frequently from Gwangju Station and the Provincial Office (도창) in Gwangju.

• From Gwangju to Jeungsimsa: Take bus No. 15, 23, 27, 52, 106, 771, 555, 111, or 15-1
• From Gwangju to Wonhyosa: Take bus No.18 (from Gwangju Station) or 777 (from the airport).
