Munja 2

~ 그래?? 쓰는사람마나?

Oh, really? Do lots of people use it?

(sent in response to a message regarding studying a new language)

  • 어 - Just a sound, oh, ah, etc.
  • 그래 - Is that so, really? From 그렇다
  • 쓰는 - from 쓰다, to use. Added to 사람 (person) means people who use (it). This is the opposite of English, where one says people who use something whereas in Korean it is written as something-using people - an easier word order, in fact.
  • 마나 - written correctly as 많아, from 많다. Many, a lot.

Korean through munja
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
