면 |
- (面) -- township. This is a classification for a small settlement, with a population of 20,000 people, or less. A myeon is a sub-unit of a city, (시), or a county (군), and is usually made up of several small villages, (리). A myeon may be upgraded to a town (읍) if it has a large enough population.
- ~면 -- if. 검 있으면 주세요 (If you have gum, please give me some.)
- 면 -- noodle, as in 냉면.
