Myeong-dong is an administrative dong in Jung-gu, Seoul, famous both for the Myeongdong Cathedral and for being perhaps the wealthiest district in the country. It contains four large department stores, including Migliore and Lotte. A number of large banks have their headquarters in Myeongdong.
