Namsan Tower

Seoul Tower is a communication tower in Seoul, Korea. Built in 1975, and completed in 1980, it has an observation deck and a pinnacle that reaches up to 239.7 m (786 ft). In the past it had been called the Namsan Tower, because it sits atop Namsan.

Most visitors ride a cable car up the mountain, and then walk to the tower. The tower has features a gift shop and restaurants on the ground floor. Visitors may go up the tower for a fee. There is an observation deck, and also two restaurants on the tower. It is a popular place to go on clear days to see most of Seoul.

It was built for broadcasting. It was started in 1969, in 1975 was completed, and in 1980 was open to the public.

In the past it was called 'Namsan Tower', these days it is called 'N Seoul Tower'. Its real name is 'YTN Seoul Tower', because 'YTN'(Korean broadcast center) took it over in 2000. It has 4 observation decks, the 4th observation deck is rotating, it takes 48 minutes. Also has gift shops and restaurants. One of the popular places in Seoul, you can overlook Seoul's landscape.
