Netizen (네티즌) is an English-derived term for an internet user, often referring to a member of a group on the internet devoted to a specific purpose that gathers on a club or cafe online. It comes from the words Internet + Citizen. It is often used in a more derogatory manner to refer to someone who spends all their time in a PC bang, and/or attempts to enact political change through simple rage and opposition without leaving the front of their computer screen.
