Paintball or commonly referred to as Survival Game(서바이벌게임), is a very popular outdoor sport in Korea.
You can find paintball tourneys and courses all over Korea, usually run by companies that organize leports activities for MT events of corporate Korea.
According to Think Big Paintball, a leading paintball distributor in Korea, they estimate that there are over 300,000 paintball players in Korea. In Korea, you can't own your own guns without permission by the government, so only companies that are involved in the paintball field can possess guns after getting permission. There are an estimated 100 paintball-related companies in Korea.
The most popular leports organizer for foreigners is Adventure Korea, who organizes paintball events numerous times throughout the year.
