North Korean propaganda village from other side of DMZ. This huge flagpole is designed to be bigger than anyone elses. The landmine-ridden forest in the foreground is a home for wildlife.

Panmunjeom (판문점) is the area right along the border between South and North Korea where the armistice was signed after the Korean War that can be visited by tourists on a seven-hour tour for 70,000 won.
