Getting a paystub (월급명세서) from your boss is not always easy. Often, your boss will not give you one unless you specifically ask for it, and even then he or she may be very reluctant to do so. This doesn't necessarily mean that your boss is trying to hide something; even foreign teachers in public schools report receiving them sporadically or even never. Since you likely need them for tax purposes back home and if you ever need to go before the Labor Board, just be polite but firm as you insist you need them.
There's also no standard as to how they should appear, so don't be put off by its design. Just check that it has the vital information -- your name, the school's name, and a complete listing of your hours worked, gross pay, and any taxes and deductions taken out.
