As a foreign teacher in Korea, it is illegal to work a 2nd job or do private tutoring, unless you have approval from both the employer who is sponsoring your visa, as well as approval from immigration. One may also find this necessary if you are working at a public school and plan to teach at an English camp during the school's summer or winter vacation. This will usually require:
A letter giving permission from your current school (with their stamp on it).
Additionally, you must be able to show that the proposed second workplace is somehow education-oriented. This typically means that it is actually illegal teach at a company.
