Korea's Postal Museum used to be in the middle of Seoul, on the fourth floor of the main Post Office. When it was torn down in 2004 the museum was removed to Cheonan.
Postal service was late in coming to Korea, but it had been well-established by the start of the Japanese occupation. The museum features mailboxes, postal uniforms, mail-processing gear, and stamps from the various eras of Korean postal history.
