Pyeongchon
Pyeongchon
Hangul: 평촌
Hanja:
Revised Romanization: Pyeongchon
McCune-Reischauer: {{{mr}}}

Pyeongchon is a somewhat official division of Anyang, though it's unclear just what its borders are. It is reportedly one of the seven most expensive districts in Korea for real estate. Points of interests include the Pyeongchon Art Hall, an E-Mart, Central Park, a large office building of the Chosun Ilbo, Anyang City Hall, and a large outdoor fish market. Pyeongchon Station is behind and below the E-Mart, to which it is connected. There is a long pedestrian-only street leading west from the station, which is a somewhat popular nightlife area.

The closest interesting areas to Pyeongchon are Sanbon and Beomgye Station.
