Rain (λΉ„) is a hugely popular male pop singer, one of the most recognizable stars in Korea and a leading light of the Korean Wave abroad. In 2006 he had his first performance in the west, at New York's Theater at Madison Square Garden, and his profile rose further with 2007's parody on the Colbert Report.
