Rimini

Rimini (리미니) is a chain of Italian restaurants with locations throughout the country. The restaurant specializes in seafood pastas and cruchy Italian style pizzas which can be had for between 5,000 and 10,000 won. Named after the Italian coastal city, Rimini tries in its own way to duplicate the atmosphere of its namesake with wood panneling, brick pillars, old photographs, and murals of fat Italian chefs.

[edit] Menu

The menu at Rimini features some pretty good spaghettis, risottos, and thin-crust pizzas. Start you meal with some freshly baked bread, a bowl of traditional Italian soup, or a fresh salad. Then you can move onto the large selection of seafood pastas cooked in a cream, tomato or olive oil sauce. The Italian style pizzas or a risotto can also be appetizing while vegetarians visiting the restaurant may want to keep the margherita pizza in mind. Of course, the best way to get a good sampling of Rimini's menu is to try one of their set menus. Tiramisu is the main desert item. The very affordable salad bar offers a variety of Italian style salads and includes pasta, seafood, freshly baked breads, and seasonal fruits. Finally, before you leave be sure to ask for Rimini's"bonus card" as it one of the most generous you'll find.

[edit] Locations

Rimini's first restaurant opened in the Myeongdong area and has since expanded to over twenty locations nationwide. Most of the restaurants can be found in one of Korea's major retailers like 2001 Outlet, New Core Outlet or Homever. Click on one of the links below for directions to the Rimini closest to you.
