Sacheon (사천시; 泗川市; sa (river same).river.city) is a city in Gyeongsangnam-do. The population as of 2004 was 113,217, including:
- 112,670 Koreans and
- 547 non-Koreans.
Sacheon is located on the very south side of the province. Korean Aerospace Industries, a national aerospace company, is based here.

Sacheon is located at 127°54′∼128°11′ east, and 34°56′∼35°09′ north. To the east is the county of Goseong, to the west is the county of Hadong, to the south is the county of Namhae, and to the north is the city of Jinju.
The Namhae Highway that goes from Busan to Suncheon passes through the centre of the west part of the city.
Mountains close to the city include Waryongsan (와룡산, 799m), Heungmusan (흥무산, 455m), and Imyeongsan (이명산, 570m).
The Jukcheon stream which begins from Guryongsan mountain flows to the west into the Sacheon Bay.
Proximity to the sea gives Sacheon a mild climate. Yearly average temperature is 14℃, the average in January is 1℃, and 25℃ in July. The average yearly precipitation is 1,400mm, about the same as the rest of the south part of the country.
Services, health, education, religion
As of 2001, there were 27 elementary, 8 junior high, and 9 high schools in the city. There are two arenas, three gymnasiums, one cultural arts centre, four cable television stations, and three weekly newspapers. There are also four hospitals, 24 clinics, 15 dentist offices, eight Korean traditional medical centres, and one public health centre. There are 73 Christian churches, five Catholic churches, 53 Buddhist religious centres, and two for Confucianism.
