Located in front of Sammaksa Chilseonggak, these "natural temples" are rocks shaped like male and female organs. According to folklore, these temples were worshipped before the priest Wonhyo has Sammaksa built in 677, during the Silla kingdom.
People touch and pray to the stones for fertility, health, and longetivity for themselves and family members. Pilgrimages happen on the first day of lunar April and on the seventh day of lunar July.
