Samsung Plaza is the premier department store in Bundang and one of the district's major landmarks. This upscale shopping center offers the best of everything including all the major brand names in clothing, shoes, or accessories, such as Gucci, Channel, Armani, and Prada.
On the main floor there is a large open area looking up to an enormous skylight, with many booths set up below selling clothing and accessories that have been put on sale. New items from make up, to electronics, to cars are also frequently put on display here. In addition, there is also an excellent grocery store and home interior store located below the main shopping area. On the top floor, there are a large number of restaurants, as well.
Samsung Plaza is located in Seohyeon-dong, directly above Seohyeon Station. The store was opened in November of 1997 and has since become one of the most sought after shopping locales in South Korea.
On weekdays, Samsung Plaza is open from 10:30am to 8pm, and from 10:30am to 8:30pm on Fridays, weekends and public holidays. To speak to a store representative the telephone number is 031) 779-3300. The number for the information desk is 031) 779-3771~2.

- Lounge (휴계실): A lounge is available for all customers on the 4th floor, with an additional one for the use of women only on the 3rd. On the 5th floor there is another lounge for mothers with small infants.
- Skin Care Room (스킨케어룸): Customers can come here to try on new cosmetics or receive skin care treatment.
- Tailors (수선실): For only a small charge, new clothes that require hemming or other adjustments can be brought to the 3rd or 4th floors and usually be finished within an hour.
- Baggage Check (보관소): Large bags and other items that you don't wish to carry around with you while shopping can be stored on basement level 1, near the grocery store. An attendant will give you a tag to reclaim your bags when you have finished.
- Baby Carriages (유모차대여소): Baby carriages are available for parents with small children on the 1st floor by Gate 1.

Samsung Plaza has ample parking space, with parking lots A and B resting under the store and supplementary parking lots C and D each a block away. For their safety and convenience, there are specially designated parking areas for female customers on the second and third underground levels, with escorts available on demand. In addition, a valet parking space is available for VIP customers, which is maintained by the employees in yellow uniforms (Noon to 7pm). Employees wearing yellow hats can also be seen in the grocery store and will carry your shopping bags for you to the parking lot if they are too heavy for you. Other attendents outside Gate 1 on the first floor of the building will call a taxi for customers with no other means of transport.
