Sanbuk-myeon is bordered on the north and east by Dongno-myeon; on the west by Mungyeong-eup, Maseong-myeon and Hogye-myeon; on the south by Sanyang-myeon; and on the east by Yucheon-myeon in Yecheon-gun. It also shares short borders with Yecheon-gun's Gaepo-myeon and Yonggung-myeon.
