Sawatdee is a Thai restaurant on the Sinjang Shopping Mall in Songtan. Owned by an English-speaking Korean woman, the restaurant serves pretty decent Thai food at good prices, including several desserts, beers, and Thai tea with milk. They have a nice vegetarian menu, and you can specify how spicy you do or don't want your food by using their 1 -- 5 scale.

To get there, walk down the street from the Osan Air Base front gate about two blocks; it'll be on the corner on your right, on the second floor. English is spoken and on the menus. They also offer a point card which gets you a free meal after you've had 10.

In 2006 the owner opened Chang Pwuck, a bit closer to the Air Base.
