Seocheon (서천군, 舒川郡, quiet.river.county) is a county in Chungcheongnam-do. The population as of 2004 was 65,960, including:

- 310 non-Koreans.

To the east of Seocheon is the county of Buyeo, to the north is the city of Boryeong, to the south is the city of Gunsan in Jeollabuk-do, and to the west is the Yellow Sea (황해).
Seocheon is adjacent to the sea and has a moderate climate. The average yearly temperature is 12.5℃, the average temperature in January is －2℃, the average in August is 26.5℃, and the average yearly precipitation is 1,113.2mm.
