The Seoksongnyeong Pine Tree is located in Gamcheon-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It's in front of Seokpyeong's village hall. It is an umbrella-shaped tree, divided into two parts, and supported by stone columns. On 4 Nov 1982 this pine was classified as Natural Monument No. 294.
Former President Park Chung Hee funnelled a grant of 5,000,000 won to the tree; the money was used for scholarships.
On the fifteenth day of the lunar new year, the villagers hold a ritual around the tree, praying for peace.
