Seongnam English Village (성남영어마을) is an English language educational institute located in Yul-dong of Seongnam's Bundang-gu. It was opened on December 29, 2005. This institute is designed to lessen the burden of private education on parents and give an opportunity for elementary students who live in the city of Seongnam to gain experience in an English language environment without needing to travel abroad.

The are three kinds of programs currently available. The focus is to provide a fun experience for students while they gain confidence in the use of the language. Students use practical English in a varety of real world settings, such as shopping, ordering food at a restaurant, or using the Internet, with a staff of English native speakers standing by to instruct and help.
The Seongnam English Village can accomodate 240 to 250 students at a time divided into 20 groups of 12 students each. After arriving at the Village, students' English abilities are evaluated in a placement test conducted by staff. Then students are seperated into beginner, intermediate or advanced groups.

This program lasts 6 days and 5 nights. It is open to grade 6 elementary students. Students arrive on Monday morning and check out Saturday morning. The cost per person is 110,000 won.

This one day program runs from 9:30 am to 6pm on Saturdays and is open to elementary school students (grade 3 and above) and their families. The cost per person is 50,000 won and includes lunch, course materials and insurance. Four different course are offered.
[edit] School Vacation Camp
This program is open to students from grade four of elementary school to second grade of middle school. There are two intakes of students during the month of August, both lasting 13 days and 12 nights. The cost per person is 400,000 won.

- Subway: Go out exit 6 at Seohyeon Station and take a taxi. The ride should be about 10 minutes in duration.

- Car: Head towards Yuldong Park, the entrance to the Village is near the rear entrance of the park.
